…excellent Thai green curry…it was mightily, electrifyingly hot and hauntingly fragrant with the scent of galangal. If any dish can transport you to Thailand, this is it. It embodied everything that is attractive for me about Thai cooking, right down to the endorphin rush that you get when a lot of chillis are combined, not in mindless pursuit of macho posturing, but in the manner of the alchemist turning base metal into gold… Service was impeccable and the atmosphere buoyantly friendly, something that seems to derive from the two very jolly proprietors Conor Sexton and Conor Kilkenny. Koh is unusual in combining fun with quite a serious and authentic approach to food…..It’s certainly worth a detour, and next time I might just try one of their famous cocktails.
